About the role
As MRI Supervisor, you will lead the MRI department, drawing on your extensive technical knowledge and leadership capability to ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of MRI safety, scan quality, and patient care, while supporting and developing your team.
This role suits a confident leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and remains calm under pressure — all while delivering exceptional patient and customer experiences.
You'll be working with a new Siemens 3T Lumina MRI scanner, alongside experienced Radiologists, in a modern, purpose-built facility.

About you
* Proven experience providing training and support to MRI staff and assisting with practice management
* Ability to maintain production levels and ensure the highest quality of MRI imaging
* Experience with Siemens MRI scanners (essential)
* Experience working with a 3T MRI scanner, ideally Siemens Lumina
* High level of expertise in MRI safety
* Adaptation techniques and protocol optimisation experience
* Demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service
* Recognised University (or equivalent) qualification in Medical Imaging Technology
* Current AHPRA registration and Tasmanian radiation licence
* Sound understanding of WHS practices
