as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent
NV1, Network Engineer / Architect
to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.
About You
:
* 8 - 10 years + relevant experience preferably in a network security vendor.
* 5+ Years' experience in LAN/WAN /Internet Support or Administration.
* 3+ Years' experience with Network Security Products.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of the security threat landscape.
* Administrator level working knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux.
* Previous Technical support position (other PS or TAC position), or Sales Engineering background advantageous.
* External network security & vendor certifications such as Cisco, F5, Juniper, AWS area plus.
About the Role:
Maintain expert-level technical knowledge in the following technology disciplines:
* Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, SD-WAN, Proxies
* Firewalls, UTM, APT (Sandboxing), Application Control & Content Filtering,
* Web Proxying, SLB, Cryptology
* VPN technologies (SSL VPN/IPSEC VPN) & associated topologies
* Web Application Firewalling
* Centralized Logging and Reporting solution
* Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Provide technical mentoring, training, and coaching to other members.
* Assists in the deployment, configuration, cut-over, testing and troubleshooting of security solutions in customer environments.
