What You’ll Be Doing
As a Gaming Attendant, your role is to create a welcoming and safe environment while delivering top-tier service to every guest. Your day-to-day will include:
* Providing professional and friendly customer service in the gaming room, bar, and lounge
* Operating gaming machines and assisting patrons with payouts and minor technical issues
* Serving food and beverages (including coffee and alcohol) with a focus on speed and quality
* Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately and securely
* Assisting with accommodation guest check-ins and phone enquiries
* Keeping the gaming area clean, organised, and compliant with regulations
* Promoting responsible gambling and ensuring a safe and respectful environment
* Supporting team members and contributing to a positive team culture
* Following RSA and WHS procedures at all times
About You
You’re reliable, friendly, and have a can-do attitude with a passion for great service. You’ll thrive in a team setting, be confident with customers, and love being part of the action in a busy hospitality venue.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* A warm, approachable personality with strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask
* Basic knowledge of gaming machines (or a willingness to learn)
* The ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Confidence in handling cash and working in fast-paced environments
* Flexibility, initiative, and a team-first mindset
Essential:
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
RSG 1 certification
Previous experience in gaming or hospitality
