Our Head Chef is going home to Victoria after 4 great years with us, so a significant opportunity with the forward thinking Prendiville Group is up for grabs. The Continental Hotel is looking for a Head Chef to lead a very competent and committed kitchen team. The job involves working with the Bistro team to produce an excellent and consistent quality of food for a heavily skewed corporate customer base. In addition, for 6 months of the year we operate Papa Fuego, a South American concept restaurant which is consistently ranked as the top dining experience in Broome (www.papafuego.com.au).
The ideal candidate will not only have transferable kitchen skills but the ability to ensure that costs are well controlled and OH&S is a priority. This position could suit a very strong Sous chef who is looking for a next step in an upwardly moving career. We value work life balance and are fortunate to have had a strong level of staff retention over the past few years. Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate. Position available only to candidates that currently have full work rights in Australia.
