About the role
We are a medium sized retail supplies and services businesses in Australia. We are undertaking a roll-up strategy which commenced in July 2020 and currently operate the second largest ecommerce website in our category and want to become #1. That is where you come in!
We have 6 physical retail stores (in 3 states ACT, NSW, Qld) and have approximately 1,000 regular service customers. We are part of a large and growing industry that has plenty of demand for its products and services.
It is an exciting time for us as we expand our footprint to meet growing demands across the East Coast of Australia. With this expansion comes a fantastic opportunity for a Paid Media Specialist to join our team.
This full-time role will be working from home (or our offices in Newcastle or Gold Coast), based in Australia. With our Ecommerce operations based in Newcastle some travel may be required from time to time to meet and strategize with the team, but it won't be regular travel. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving exceptional profit growth from paid media.

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for:
- The Paid Media Manager will play a key role in driving online sales across Facebook and the web.
- You will drive the ongoing optimisation and performance of all our campaigns, predominately focused on Paid Search (SEM/PPC) and Paid Social but also broadening your knowledge in other channels like YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years' experience in a comparable role or agency managing multiple clients
- Solid understanding of Search advertising (Google and Bing), proficient in using editor and campaign planning tools
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Merchant Centre
- Solid understanding of Facebook advertising
- Proficient with SEM best practices and preferably Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to brand business objectives
- High attention to detail around creative and QA reviews
- Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task, organise, prioritise and structure workload
- Proactive, assertive and a good team-player
- Demonstrates a passion to learn and grow within the digital marketing space and new developments in this area
- Creative strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach where collaboration is key
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
