Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - Opportunities in Mining Industry
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our maintenance crew in the Bowen and Galilee Basin. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-driven individual to work in a dynamic environment with a forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain mobile and fixed equipment, including MPUs.
* Provide site-based assistance with breakdowns, diagnostics, and fault finding.
* Work effectively within a team, autonomously, and unsupervised.
* Be willing to work in remote locations.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
* Previous experience in maintaining MPUs or HR vehicles.
* Current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
* Can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
* Physical fitness and readiness for demanding work.
* Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
* Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and other relevant computer software.
