Role Purpose

This is an entry level Assistant Account Executive position suited to a graduate or someone with up to 12 months of insurance experience, looking to start or grow their career in commercial insurance broking. You will support senior brokers and account executives while building your foundational skills through structured training. You will begin working with smaller policies, with the goal of progressing into larger accounts as your confidence and capability grows.

Key Responsibilities


• Support senior brokers and account executives with renewals, servicing, and day-to-day account management


• Assist with policy documentation, processing endorsements, and preparing insurance paperwork


• Liaise with insurers to obtain terms, manage queries, and support policy placement


• Maintain accurate policy records, compliance documents, and client files


• Support clients with general enquiries and assist with claims follow ups where required


• Develop product and market knowledge through training and mentoring


• Contribute to a professional and efficient service experience for clients


• Organise and prioritise tasks in a busy office-based broking environment

Ideal Candidate


• A recent graduate, or someone with up to 12 months of insurance experience


• Graduates from Business, Commerce, Economics, or related studies are strongly encouraged to apply


• Eager to learn, motivated, and committed to building a long-term career in insurance broking


• Well presented, professional, and comfortable working in a fully office-based team environment


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to tasks and deadlines


• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
