About the Role

D’Aprix Marine Services is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Marine Technician to join our high-performing team in Coomera, Gold Coast. Key Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Marine Diesel Engine Service & Repair – Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of marine diesel engines, with a primary focus on our dealership’s key brands: Cummins, Yanmar, John Deere and Caterpillar.
* Marine Systems Maintenance – Maintain auxiliary marine systems and other vessel components to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Independent & Detail-Oriented Work – Work autonomously while delivering consistently high-quality results with close attention to detail
* Electrical Systems Expertise – Troubleshoot, repair, and install 12V and 24V electrical systems across various vessel types
* Adaptability & Motivation – Stay responsive to the dynamic demands of the marine industry, maintaining high service standards in all conditions

Skill & Experience

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Marine Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter
* A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in the marine industry
* Solid understanding of marine diesel engines, electronics, and onboard systems
* Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
* A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
* A valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport
* Availability to commence work from 6:00am
