Are you a passionate and hands-on chef ready to lead from the front? Hotel Commonwealth in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Head Chef to take charge of our quick-paced, pub-style kitchen.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a kitchen team in a high-volume pub or bistro environment
Deliver consistent quality food in a busy, fast-paced setting
Drive menus, specials, and kitchen standards with autonomy
Manage stock control, ordering, rostering, and food cost
Ensure excellent knowledge of pub classics, seasonal specials, and modern Australian cuisine
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a high-volume pub or bistro
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to deliver consistent quality in a busy setting
