You don't need previous FIFO experience – but bulk cooking experience, the ability to work independently, and strong time management skills are essential.

The Role
* Breakfast & Pastry Experience
* Buffet style bulk cooking experience
* Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room attendants
* Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
* Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standards
The Person
* Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
* Bulk Catering Experience
* Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
* Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
* Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
