We are currently seeking a talented and driven SolidWorks CAD Designer/Draftsperson to join our Sales & Project Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with both clients and our internal team, helping transform sales enquiries into fully manufactured solutions. Key Responsibilities You will be involved in every stage of the process - from estimating and specification through to design, drafting, programming, procurement, and fabrication. You'll need to be comfortable managing multiple projects and working closely with various stakeholders. Your Skills and Experience We are looking for someone with proven capabilities in the following areas: Proficiency in SolidWorks, particularly in the sheet metal, weldments, and drafting environments Competence in Microsoft Excel, including creating and editing lists, using basic formulas and filters (e.g. for BOMs, templates, forms) Strong multi-tasking abilities - able to manage multiple ideas or projects at once Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Highly Desirable (but not essential) : A qualification in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a trade/fabrication background Practical, hands-on skills with tools or workshop equipment (whether professionally or as a hobby) Experience in sales or customer service in any industry A current forklift license What We Offer : Competitive salary Full-time hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:20pm A friendly, supportive, and hard-working team environment Ongoing on-the-job and external training, with clear career development pathways Direct mentoring from the business owner - a passionate leader with over 25 years of experience in SolidWorks, R&D, and manufacturing APPLY NOW through our online application form.
