Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Professional to lead our Food Safety and Quality team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive food safety and quality programs, coaching and developing the Food Safety & Quality Team at our Frozen manufacturing site in Colac, Victoria.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support and advice to the operations team on food safety and quality
* Leading external and internal audits to maintain regulatory, third-party and customer accreditations
* Ensuring site food safety and quality monitoring and verification processes comply with standards
* Participating in new product development (NPD) processes
* Managing food safety and quality pre-requisite programs
The ideal candidate will have broad experience and knowledge of food safety and quality, preferably in a dairy manufacturing environment.
They should possess exceptional people coaching and development skills, as well as highly proactive technical acumen and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (preferred)
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a food safety and quality role
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
