This Government Organisation is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join the IT team in a 5 month contract. This Government Organisation is based in the Chatswood area of Sydney and are looking for a Service Desk Analyst with experience across high volume service desks and desktop support. This role would allow you to work in a 4 month contract and do flexible hours.
**Your new role**

As Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for taking 1st and 2nd level support phone calls, walk ups and managing ticketing systems. In this role you will be working across a high-volume service desk and you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also have extensive experience across desktop support and doing walk up support.
**What you'll need to succeed** 
- To be a fit for this role you will have minimum 2 years recent experience in a Level 1-2 IT Support role 
- Have excellent customer service and be immediately available 
- Experience in Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, Windows operating systems 
- Windows 10 
- O365, MS Servers 2012 and 2016 
- Basic networking knowledge 
- Windows OS and entire MS Office Suites 
- Experience in ServiceNow ticketing system 
- Experience in laptop and desktop builds 
- Excellent communication skills and confident to speak to stakeholders at all levels
