**Organisational Profile**:
An opportunity has become available for a motivated and driven Payroll Officer to join a Non-For Profit organisation on a permanent part-time basis. This opportunity is located in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
As the Payroll Officer, you will be reporting into the Payroll Manager and your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Processing timesheets for employees on a fortnightly basis;
- Reconciliating the Single Touch Payroll;
- Award and EBA interpretation;
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax, work cover and superannuation;
- Managing queries from internal stakeholders;
- Assist with month end reporting.
**Skills & Experience**
- High attention to detail while working in a fast-paced payroll environment;
- Attaché experience is preferred or relevant exposure to large payroll systems;
- Adaptive communication style to ensure an open, skilled and friendly manner to all levels within the organisation;
- Ability to show initiative and take accountability for your learning;
- Flexible work approach to meet the varying demands of an ever-changing and fast-moving environment;
- Positive and friendly work ethic.
