Personal Care Assistant Job
Welcome to our job posting. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to our Home Care clients, supporting their health, independence, and wellbeing.
About the Role:
You will travel between clients' homes to assist with daily living and lifestyle needs, ensuring each client is supported with respect, dignity, and choice. Your role will involve providing personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts. You will also assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Offer social support and transport, including shopping, outings, and medical appointments
* Support clients with mobility aids and personal equipment
* Assist clients with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitor client wellbeing and provide progress updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent. You will also require current Australian Federal Police Clearance, valid CPR and First Aid Certificates, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current Australian Driver's Licence, and valid working rights in Australia.
