About the Venue:
The Imperial Hotel Eumundi is located in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland. Only 20 minutes from the beach and directly across the road from the famous Eumundi markets, the Imperial Hotel is the perfect location for delicious eats, decadent drinks and luxury accommodation. The venue offers the perfect setting for any event, specializing in live music, corporate and social functions. The Hotel completed its first stage of major renovation in September 2024, and the second stage is scheduled for completion in the coming months with a brand new kitchen, beer garden and kids indoor play centre.
About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant/operations Manager to play a vital role in the daily operations of our venue. You'll help lead a dynamic team, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service at every turn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The ideal candidate will be an aspiring leader with a passion for hospitality, who thrives under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the running of food service, ensuring our service standards are upheld and we are creating memorable dining experiences
- Demonstrate strong skills in working within budget constraints and achieving financial targets
- Work with the Function coordinator to ensure functions are welcomed and looked after
- Maintain product knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
- Adhere to cash-procedures and ensure venue closes are tight and thorough
- Maintain knowledge of venue compliance, regulations and venue operations
- Training and motivating the team with a focus on continual staff development through effective communication
- Work with the marketing team to produce creative promotions and venue initiatives
- Follow stock control procedures and complete accurate stock takes
- Ensure that the services standards are upheld in gaming facilities
About you:
- Minimum (1) year experience in a similar role
- Highly motivated, customer focused, and passionate about hospitality
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile environment, managing multiple priorities with efficiency and composure
- A solid track record of meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- A natural and confident leader
- RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager accreditation
- Have a strong product knowledge in beer, wine and spirits
- Have full availability to work a mix of nights, weekends and day shifts
