About the role

As an End User Computing (EUC) Field Support Engineer, you will make an impact by delivering onsite, hands‑on technical support to end users, ensuring smooth device operations and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and mobile environments. You will be a valued member of the IT Infrastructure Support team and collaborate closely with service desk, infrastructure, and vendor partners to ensure seamless support delivery.

In this role, you will:

* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents across desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
* Perform IMACD (install, move, add, change, de‑install) activities for end‑user hardware and software.
* Provide onsite "hands & feet" support, troubleshooting issues directly at the user's location.
* Support system deployment activities including imaging, OS installation (Windows/Mac), and application setup.
* Deliver hands‑on assistance with audiovisual and meeting room collaboration technologies.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring presence at a client. Cognizant strives to provide flexibility wherever possible and supports a healthy work–life balance through various wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered

* 3+ years of experience in an End User Computing / Desktop Support / Field Support role.
* Strong experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related hardware.
* Hands‑on experience with OS deployment, imaging, and software installation (Windows/Mac).
* Ability to manage and maintain end‑user IT hardware, including configuration and asset upkeep.
* Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices.
* Experience resolving technical incidents and working within ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

These will help you stand out

* Experience leading or guiding a small team (4–5 EUC engineers).
* Knowledge of audiovisual technologies and collaboration tools for meeting spaces.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and SCCM for device management and patching.
* Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
* Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to communicate effectively in an enterprise environment.
