Rotation Solutions is a fast-growing company specialising in delivering comprehensive engineering and field services for rotating equipment and turbo-machinery. We provide innovative solutions across the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Utilities sectors. Our team works with light industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines, including models from manufacturers such as Solar Turbines, General Electric (GE) LM-series, and Rolls-Royce.
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and managing projects related to these critical assets, ensuring their optimal performance, and driving innovative solutions in a dynamic and evolving industry. You will be part of a global team that provides field service and engineering support, plus assistance for our Overhaul and Repair facilities in Canada and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership: Bring your expertise in gas turbines, offering technical support both in the office and on-site.
2. Project Oversight: Lead projects focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of gas turbines, including failure analysis, turbine upgrades, and shutdown planning.
3. Field and Office Work: Split time between office-based engineering (~80%) and field-based client support (~20%), ensuring the seamless execution of projects.
4. Training and Development: Mentor engineers and technicians, providing both field-based and office-based technical training to foster the development of the next generation of engineers within the organisation.
5. Innovative Solutions: Lead investigations into complex machinery issues, develop troubleshooting procedures, and provide tailored solutions to client challenges related to rotating equipment.

What We Are Looking For:
1. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience working with rotating equipment, particularly light industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong experience in turbine maintenance, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and failure investigation.
4. Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mentor engineers and technicians.
5. Client Engagement: Excellent interpersonal skills with a history of managing key client relationships and delivering customised technical solutions.
Additional Skills: Familiarity with industry standards and safety practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
