The opportunity
We're looking for a commercially minded Partnerships Executive to support new growth across Asembl's brand portfolio.
This role focuses on new business development, commercial structuring and progressing licensing deals through to execution. Once partnerships are signed, day-to-day partner performance is led by the Brand Manager.
In short:
* Brand Manager: brand execution + ongoing partner performance
Key responsibilities
* Identify and prospect new licensees aligned to brand and category strategy
* Build and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities
* Support and lead commercial conversations with prospective partners
* Develop proposals and business cases for brand owners
* Progress licensing agreements from initial approach through to execution
* Support negotiation of royalties, minimum guarantees and commercial terms
* Support revenue planning, forecasting and portfolio growth opportunities
* Identify whitespace and category expansion opportunities
* Conduct retailer visits and provide market/commercial insights
What success looks like
* Strong active pipeline within the first 2 months
* New deals progressed and signed within 4 months
* Clear commercial growth plans across key brands
* Strong collaboration with the Commercial team and Brand Managers
Skills & experience
* 3+ years' experience in FMCG, licensing, brand partnerships, sales or commercial roles
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial confidence and comfort working with financial data
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
* Experience with retailers/manufacturers is advantageous
* Licensing experience highly regarded, but not essential
Other requirements
* Domestic travel and retail store visits required
* Occasional international travel as required
