As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, donburi, tempura, and other menu items.
Ensure all food preparation adheres to recipe standards, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
Support menu planning, seasonal updates, and development of new dishes.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering ingredients, and minimise food waste.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
Certificate in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent professional cookery qualification.
Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and kitchen best practices.
Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
Passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn house-style preparation techniques.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
