About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts' team as Front Office Manager at our Cairns, Queensland location. As Front Office Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead the front office team, including receptionists, concierge, and guest services staff
* Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
* Implement and maintain efficient front office procedures and policies
* Foster a welcoming and guest-centric environment
* Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
* Manage front office budgets and staffing schedules
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
* Provide hands-on training and development for the front office team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Front Office Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Proficient in using hotel management software and technologies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and guest needs
* Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Minimum 3-4 years of front office management experience required
* Minimum 2-3 years of hotel industry experience required
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required to apply for this position
* Certificate or diploma level qualification required for this position
