About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of commercial office buildings. This full-time role is critical to ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Tenant & Public Interface: Deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and public, acting as a key point of contact for building-related enquiries.
* Preventative Maintenance Implementation: Coordinate and oversee scheduled services including cleaning, security, and general building upkeep.
* Repairs & Maintenance Oversight: Manage and monitor services related to painting, air-conditioning, fire protection, lifts, and emergency systems.
* Contractor Management: Supervise all service contractors, ensuring attendance, performance, and compliance with contractual obligations. Conduct regular cost reviews to ensure value for money.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety Regulations.
* Common Area Supervision: Attend to and supervise public thoroughfares, common areas, car parking, lift usage, and tenant comfort conditions.
* Access Control & Security Procedures: Administer and monitor building access control systems and security protocols.
* Presentation & Maintenance Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure property assets are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
About You
* Proven experience in facilities coordination or property management.
* Strong understanding of building systems and contractor management.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Knowledge of WHS regulations and compliance.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
