Government Relations Role
This is a key role within the organization, focused on building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of federal government processes in Australia, as well as experience working in an electorate office, ministerial office, or within corporate affairs, government relations or external affairs roles.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, able to effectively engage with stakeholders and manage issues. They will also possess strong project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders
* Engaging with senior executives and relevant internal stakeholders to promote the organization's actions and reputation
* Assisting in the resolution of escalated customer complaints and electorate issues
* Maintaining databases and reports relating to government relations activities
Requirements:
* Understanding of federal government processes in Australia
* Experience working in an electorate office, ministerial office, or within corporate affairs, government relations or external affairs roles
* Accomplished communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Demonstrated project management skills
