As our Talent Onboarding Coordinator, reporting to the Talent Onboarding Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new starters, internal transfers, and contractors within The Star. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and play a pivotal role in supporting the engagement of every candidate, from the moment they are selected for a position to joining us on their first day. This role is a 6-month full-time opportunity based in Gold Coast. A few of your responsibilities: Conduct and complete all required probity checks for new starters, internal transfers, and contractors. Execute to a high standard, managing data entry in the tracking systems with attention to detail, ensuring that probity checks are conducted accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with relevant departments, Licensing, Investigations, Employee Relations and external agencies, Equifax, and Federal Police, to facilitate background checks and any other necessary screenings. Ensure Compliance and Regulatory knowledge by staying up to date with relevant policies, procedures, legal requirements, and compliance standards related to The Star talent acquisition and onboarding process. Communicate with new hires, internal transfers, and contractors to collect, review, and process their documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. What we will be looking for: HR tertiary degree or similar qualifications advantageous. Previous experience in a high-volume HR administrative role in a regulatory environment. High attention to detail, proficient data entry, and meticulous record keeping. Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Excel. Experience in a high volume and fast-paced recruitment environment. Experience working in a centralised or shared services talent function beneficial.
