Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Description
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will work with children aged 0-21, providing specialized care and support to help them achieve their full potential.
This role organizes and conducts prescribed occupational therapy programs to ensure optimal functioning, prevent disability, and maintain health.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and opportunity for growth
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support
* Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
Requirements:
* Education: A graduate degree from an accredited occupational therapist program is required
* License/Certifications: Current licensure as an occupational therapist is required or must be in compliance with state practice acts
* Experience: Prior experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient occupational therapy department is preferred
