Central Queensland Cardiology is seeking a Cardiac Technician to provide exceptional care to its clients and ensure the smooth and efficient function of the practice.
The role mainly consists of preparing the clinic for the Cardiologist, conducting ECGs and blood pressure monitoring prior to consultations, applying and removing holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitors and cuffs, and utilising and maintaining other electronic testing equipment.
In addition, the Cardiac Technician prepares patients for diagnostic testing such as stress echocardiograms by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort and monitoring vital signs during testing.
This position requires exceptional communication skills, above average time management skills, attention to detail, empathy and reliability.
The successful applicant will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team which aids the Cardiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disorders and conditions.
