About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be a friendly face that welcomes guests and helps us ensure their experience with us is seamless, safe, and enjoyable. You'll work across a range of areas, including reception, bookings, customer enquiries, and general front‑of‑house support.
Hourly rate $41.07
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting and assisting members and visitors with enthusiasm and professionalism
* Manage phone, email, and in‑person enquiries
* Process memberships, bookings, and payments accurately
* Monitor access to the facility and provide general information on programs and events
* Ensure the reception area is tidy and always welcoming
* Support events and activity setup/pack‑down as needed
* Handle feedback or complaints with a calm, solution‑focused attitude
Who We Are Looking For
* A passion for great customer service and a positive, can‑do attitude
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse community
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Confidence in using technology and booking/payment systems (training provided)
* Professional presentation and a warm, welcoming manner
* Previous experience in a front desk, leisure, hospitality, or fitness environment will be highly regarded but if you're eager and willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you
