Job Summary
As a seasoned payroll professional, you will lead a small team responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll services across Australia. Your expertise in payroll processing and leadership will drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and coach a small payroll team to ensure they have the necessary skills to deliver exceptional results.
* Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for Australia, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
* Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, journal entries and month-end/year-end cycles.
* Identify efficiencies and streamline workflows to improve productivity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience managing or supervising payroll in a large, complex business.
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, award interpretation and compliance.
* Experience supporting or leading payroll system implementation or upgrade.
* Proficient in payroll reporting, reconciliations and problem-solving.
