* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or café is preferred, however not essential
* Previous barista experience is preferred, however not essential
* Most of all, you will love Village Bakehouse and the food we produce as much as we do and want to be a part of a team that is warm and family focused.
The Role
We are currently looking for highly motivated Bakery Café Assistants to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager your responsibilities within this role will include but are not limited to:
* Positively represent and be an ambassador for the Village Bakehouse brand
* Take customer orders for food, beverage and catering
* Preparation and serving food and drinks to customers to enjoy within the café or takeaway
* Clearing used dishes and cutlery from tables
* Cleaning and preparing tables as required
* Operating a point-of-sale terminal and EFTPOS machine.
