About Us
Healy State School is a public primary school (Prep‐6) located in the southern suburb of Healy in Mount Isa, Queensland. It offers education with a strong focus on high expectations for student learning and behaviour. Opened in 1972, it is a multicultural school with a diverse student population. Staff work with an intent to provide a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. Teachers are focused on educational achievement and belonging and engagement, ensuring positive experiences and learning outcomes for the students in their care with an expectation that all students will learn successfully.
