As an Event Logistics Captain, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless events and creating world-class experiences. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to the Events team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will supervise a team of logistic professionals in event setups, as well as overseeing the smooth execution of various functions. A few of your responsibilities: Coordinating event logistics, inclusive of staff, equipment allocation, and venue preparation Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards What we are looking for: Proven experience in events, logistics and/or hospitality A current Forklift Licence, Traffic Control and Pallet Jack experience (advantageous but not required) Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays About you: With your ability to provide guidance and work collaboratively with a large and diverse team, this will see you set up for success.
