We are looking for an experienced and talented Quantity Surveyor to assist the Commercial Team with quantity surveying duties, providing effective financial and contractual control on all contracts within the London Business. This role is primarily office and project based, with flexibility for occasional remote work.

About the role
You will be working within the Construction London & Home Counties business, where you will:
* Contribute to achieving the appropriate commercial result through accurate financial reporting
* Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, both financially and contractually, to ensure full entitlements under the contract
* Identify, secure, and deliver the business forecast in terms of turnover and margin
* Place subcontract orders in accordance with the main contract and manage subcontractor accounts to ensure timely and correct payments, resolving any commercial issues
* Monitor subcontractors against the programme
* Ensure applications for payment and invoices are completed and submitted on time to meet payment terms and work in progress (WIP) and cash targets
* Ensure financial closure of projects, with all costs and values correctly allocated in accordance with the financial timetable
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience working on two-stage projects and managing your own projects independently
* Significant experience in the main contracting market, working on multi-million-pound schemes
