We are currently seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced individual with a solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures.

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of relevant experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, engines, and electrical components.

Task & responsibilities
Detect and diagnose faults in vehicle engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and other mechanical systems.
Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, gearboxes, and associated components for detailed inspection and repair.
Repair, replace, and reassemble worn or defective mechanical parts following manufacturer specifications and service manuals.
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, and filter replacements to enhance performance and ensure compliance with emission standards.
Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to determine mechanical condition and issue roadworthiness certificates or identify necessary work for compliance.
Test, calibrate, and adjust mechanical components and systems post-repair to confirm optimal operation and performance.
Utilize computerized diagnostic and testing equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults accurately.
Inspect and maintain vehicle systems such as cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems to ensure reliability and safety.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all workplace safety and environmental procedures.

Competitive salary package of $75,000–$85,000 plus superannuation.
