Help Desk Officer
* Salary: $81,986 - $96,119 per annum

The City of Joondalup is looking for a motivated individual to join its busy IT Service Desk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a professional, collaborative environment whilst working with modern technologies and supporting critical business operations. You'll be working as part of a supportive IT team that values knowledge-sharing, professional development, and delivering high-quality customer-focused services.
This hands-on role involves providing Level 1 IT support for on-site and remote staff, including triaging requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate service desk records. You'll configure and manage end-user devices, assist with IT asset management, create simple documentation, and support projects as needed. Key technical skills include Windows 11, Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Applicants need to provide a covering letter addressing the following key criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in an Information Technology related field or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated experience in an IT Help Desk role working in a team environment.
* Comprehensive knowledge or experience of Internet/Intranet support issues.
* Comprehensive knowledge or experience of MS O365 applications and administration.
* Demonstrated experience in the configuration and installation of PCs, laptops and mobile Devices.
* Demonstrated hardware and software troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Experience with local government systems and business processes, while not essential, would be highly regarded.
