Position Overview :
As a Collections Representative, you'll be responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer calls to collect payments on charged-off accounts. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong customer service focus.
Key Responsibilities :
* Handle inbound and outbound calls to customers, negotiating repayment solutions
* Assist customers in setting up repayment schedules and motivate them to make payments
* Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers
* Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with regulations
* Assist in training new employees, as needed
What We're Looking For :
* 2+ years of debt collection experience (preferred, but not required)
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
