Join our Medical Education and Workforce Service to support the RADAH Unit by coordinating rosters, leave, orientation and education programs for junior doctors providing safe after-hours care.
About the work unit / facility
The Responding to Acute Deterioration After Hours (RADAH) Unit is part of the Medical Education and Workforce Service at Townsville University Hospital.
The unit ensures safe patient care after hours by supporting junior doctors through supervision, training, and education.
This role plays a key part in coordinating rosters, leave, orientation, and education programs for pre-vocational medical staff.

Competitive salary and benefits
Salary between $3,****** – $3,****** per fortnight (AO4).
4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with *******% loading.

About your opportunity
As the Rostering and Education Coordinator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the RADAH Unit.
You will manage rosters, leave, orientation, and education programs for junior doctors, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and supporting safe patient care after hours.
Requirements
Experience in medical administration and/or medical education and training will be highly regarded.
Desirable: Ability to coordinate rosters and manage leave arrangements.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced computer skills and ability to interpret data.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and accreditation standards.
