Foreman / Carpenter / Site Manager
We are looking for an experienced foreman, carpenter or site manager to join our team and deliver fast‐paced commercial fit‐out projects across Sydney.
This role suits someone with a strong trade background who understands site work, can manage subcontractors, communicate clearly with clients and project teams, and maintain a high standard of workmanship and presentation.
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating day‐to‐day site activities, managing trades, monitoring quality, and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial fit‐out, hospitality, retail, office or similar fast‐paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors/trades
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, scopes, and specifications
* Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with project requirements
* Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, suppliers, and trades
* Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and cleanliness
* Identify issues early and help resolve them practically on site
* Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site access requirements
* Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with WHS requirements
* Assist with hands‐on work where required
* Maintain a professional site environment and represent the company well
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Manager, Leading Hand, or experienced Carpenter in commercial fit‐out
* Trade background preferred, such as carpentry, joinery, tiling or similar
* Strong understanding of commercial construction and fit‐out sequencing
* Ability to manage multiple trades in a fast‐paced environment
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Good communication, leadership, and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
* White Card required
* Driver's licence and own transport preferred
* Tools preferred but not essential, depending on the role structure
