About the opportunity
Join the Division of the Academic Registrar within the University of Sydney as the Senior Manager, Review and Reporting Services to oversee the review and reporting function, leading the operational management of course review activities and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with the Deputy Registrar and Executive Director (Curriculum and Policy), the Senior Manager leverages extensive course review and development experience to support analysis, consolidation of recommendations and alignment with curriculum principles, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be to
* Join a collegial team involved in a key course initiative, managing and supporting the execution of course review and development activities.
* Contribute to the analysis and consolidation of review findings and support the preparation of reports, submissions and recommendations for governance and leadership forums through to implementation.
* Develop and implement processes to support course review and reporting.
* Support the alignment of course review activity with operational systems and workflows, ensuring seamless integration between review, approval, implementation and reporting stages of the curriculum lifecycle.
* Work in partnership with relevant system and administration teams to enhance workflow consistency, improve data accuracy and strengthen transparency in course tracking and decision‐making processes.
* Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation and analysis required for governance bodies, providing operational insight on process performance, review outcomes and implementation progress.
* Engage collaboratively with faculty and University school stakeholders and professional service units to promote understanding of course review requirements, processes and timelines.
About you
* Demonstrated people management experience, including managing staff performance and development.
* People and service management experience, including managing function, staff performance and development.
* Experience in analytical report writing and presenting to senior management of an organisation.
* Experience managing a diverse group of key internal stakeholders on large or complex projects and the ability to develop and cultivate productive relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience supporting course review processes and academic governance and assurance.
