Join Our Team as a Customer Service Officer– Launceston (Part Time, Job Share)
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a frontline role where every interaction makes a difference? We're looking for an enthusiastic and capable Administrator/Receptionist to join our Launceston office in a part time job share capacity (15 hours per week). In this essential position, you will serve as the organisation's first point of contact and positively represent the St John brand by welcoming customers, clients, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism. You will also support the Launceston office team by providing accurate information and reliable administrative assistance that helps keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a polished and professional reception service across in person, phone, and electronic communication channels.
* Provide timely, accurate information to customers and service users
* Maintain efficient accurate and up-to-date information through strong administrative capability and exceptional attention to detail.
* Prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Assist First Aid Training Facilitators with participant check‑in at the commencement of training sessions, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees.
* Demonstrate a customer first mindset aligned with St John Tasmania's mission and values.
* Use administration software, customer service tools, booking platforms effectively.

Essential Requirements
* To work with us, you must:
* Be willing to acquire or provide a National Police Check that has been issued within the last six months.
* Possess or be willing to acquire a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration with NDIS endorsement.
* An unrestricted Australian Driver's licence
* Be an Australian Resident or hold a valid Australian working visa
