Job Description
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Sell into / collaborate with builders, consultants and architects.
- Support and engage in major projects.
- Strong CRM skills and detail oriented.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that meet both client and business needs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries and support.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Applicant Should Have
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the construction industry.
- Proven experience dealing with / selling to builders, consultants and architects in the building industry.
- A strong understanding of sales processes and client relationship management.
- Trade background ideally or experience in construction sales.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset.
- A valid driver's licence for travel purposes.
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis.
