Job Title: Retail Store Manager
The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruit, train and supervise a team of retail staff.
* Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration and high morale.
o Drive sales through effective floor management, merchandising and promotional strategies.
+ Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures.
# Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
+ Ensure the store layout and product displays are visually appealing and meet brand standards.
o Monitor and control store expenses and budgets.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
About You:
* 3–5 years of retail management experience, ideally in fashion (womenswear or apparel).
* Demonstrated experience in driving sales performance and achieving key performance indicators.
* Experience managing store operations including rosters, stock control, opening and closing procedures.
* Experience in clienteling and building repeat customer relationships.
* Experience leading, training and developing retail teams.
* Strong knowledge of womenswear fashion trends, styling and product knowledge.
* Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand identity.
* Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills.
* Strong grasp of retail KPIs (conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction etc.).
* Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, stock management and reporting tools.
* Knowledge of visual merchandising standards (window displays, styling, product presentation).
* Ability to adapt layouts and styling to maximise sales and reflect seasonal campaigns.
