The resort features 182 elegantly designed guest rooms, suites, and villas across four distinct accommodation wings, surrounded by glistening pools, panoramic seascapes and lush tropical gardens. Together with our five distinct restaurants and bars alongside a bespoke collection of destination-inspired private dining experiences.

About the Role

Director Human Resources is a pivotal senior leadership role requiring a true HR generalist who thrives in complex, remote environments and can seamlessly balance strategic direction with hands-on delivery. You will play a key role in embedding our Inspire Incredible culture—driving engagement, capability and high performance across all levels of the organisation.

You will lead and inspire a HR team of six, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Workplace H&S, whilst remaining deeply connected to day-to-day resort operations—partnering with resort leaders and all resort departments to drive capability, performance, and sustainable people outcomes.

As a trusted SME and advisor to the resort General Manager and part of the resort Executive Committee, you will:

* Shape and execute the people strategy aligned to business objectives
* Lead workforce planning, talent management, and organisational design
* Drive leadership capability, culture, and employee engagement
* Oversee end-to-end HR & People operations across the full employee lifecycle
* Provide expert guidance on IR, ER & EA
* Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements and WHS standards

About You

You are an accomplished HR leader with a strong track record and experience operating in a similar service/guest centric, complex, matrixed environment, with the ability to balance local operational priorities and broader organisational, brand and global frameworks.

Success in this role requires the ability to influence at all levels, build trust quickly, and operate with agility in a remote, fast-paced luxury setting.

You will bring

* Extensive experience as a senior HR leader in a fast-paced, matrix, service-driven organisation
* Strong HR generalist capability, underpinned by a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams with a focus on leadership capability
* Proven ability to operate both strategically and operationally—comfortable moving between senior leadership level and frontline
* Experience working in remote or isolated locations, with the resilience, adaptability and lifestyle choice this requires
* You are passionate about building workforce culture where people thrive and have experience embedding values-driven environments
* Strong working knowledge of Australian IR/ER frameworks is essential with EA experience an advantage
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing and impact skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high levels of accountability
* Relevant qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology, or Employment Law are highly regarded, as are WHS and RTW certifications
* Full Unrestricted Australian working rights
