The Trainee Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager / General Manager, to learn and develop skills to manage all aspects of **The Big Grill Bolivar**, including personnel, product, process, and performance results for the stores.
The Trainee Store Manager will be trained in / be responsible for:
- Coordinating and directing all store activities resulting in the delivery of high customer service standards, exceptional product quality and store profitability
- Monitoring the store's sales performance
- Selecting and training store personnel in line with company processes and procedures
- Motivating and developing staff through effective policies and initiatives
- Effectively managing inventory and stock replenishment for both the Grill and retail elements of the business
- Ensuring that the store is always kept clean, tidy, and orderly in line with company standards
The Trainee Store Manager will also be trained how to develop and manage rostering, employee productivity, and ensuring consistent compliance with all company policies & procedures.
**EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ATTRIBUTES**
1. Minimum 1 years managerial experience within a food / kitchen environment.
2. Demonstrated record of Junior Level Leadership.
3. Knowledge of basic business and management principles and practices.
4. Enjoys being challenged and willing to work outside the confines of a traditional work environment.
5. Use of initiative and an ability to take ideas and turn them into reality.
6. Ability to be flexible with excellent time management and organisational skills.
