With a focus on driving high levels of safety engagement, this is a role suited to a team and relationship focused, hands on safety professional. Description Maintain WHS policies and procedures tailored to the food production and horticultural sector. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the site. Provide guidance on compliance with WHS legislation and standards. Facilitate training sessions to promote safety awareness among employees. Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless integration of safety practices. Prepare and deliver detailed WHS reports for management review. Maintain accurate records of safety activities and compliance documentation. Profile The successful candidate will have: Proven experience in WHS roles within a food production or manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and practices. Excellent communication and training skills to engage with diverse teams. Proficiency in record-keeping and preparing detailed compliance reports.
