The Position:
Advanced Lock & Key is looking to employ a committed young person interested in pursuing a career in Locksmithing. The position is a four-year apprenticeship culminating in a formal Locksmith qualification. Training will be provided at our Wangara workshop, and you will be required to attend TAFE studies when necessary as part of your training. TAFE fees will be paid by us for you.
Our friendly, experienced team will guide and support you in learning many new skills in all areas of locksmithing, with industry specific software, machinery and products.
The Role:
* Serving customers by phone, face to face and email
* Cutting keys
* Keying up locks
* Automotive programming
* Many other varied locksmithing tasks
The applicant should be:
* Honest and reliable - working Mon-Fri
* Willingness to learn and take instruction
* Ability to work within a friendly, experienced team
* Friendly / good communicator.
* Ability to commit to a 4 year apprenticeship for your career as a locksmith.
* Possess valid Australian work rights
The successful applicant will be required to hold a National Police Clearance, a current driver's licence and to meet our customer requirements, including current flu vaccination.
