Overview

Amazon Advertising is a key strategic focus for Amazon and is in a rapid and exciting growth phase. Within Amazon Advertising, the Ad Tech Sales Organization is comprised of sales professionals focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Amazon Ad Tech products across agencies and enterprise clients.

As an Ad Tech Sales Account Executive, you will focus on driving the adoption of the Amazon DSP, APIs, and cloud products for marketing analysis. You will build broader relationships with digital marketing decision makers, including CMOs, CTOs, procurement and marketing leaders, as well as programmatic advertising leaders to further educate holistic reasons for deeper investment within programmatic. You will work collaboratively with other sales teams and product teams internally, enabling solutions for marketers and creating significant new business opportunities for Amazon Advertising. You will work closely with Amazon Advertising solutions architects to develop and promote ad tech solutions for enterprise marketers and help evolve our technology offerings for more rapid adoption by our customers. You are also responsible for building cross functional internal partnerships with AWS in order to bring to client stakeholders innovative solutions that bridge cloud and Ad Tech products.

Responsibilities

- Align with your partner on short- to long-term business focuses and key goals and develop Joint Business Plan (JBP) related to AdTech business.
- Lead the execution of the agreed JBP and achieve key goals.
- Understand advertisers’ business and marketing strategies and goals deeply, also understand their technology stack related to data and advertising, and draw and implement specific plans on how to utilize Amazon's ad tech solutions to achieve the customer's business and marketing goals.
- Understand both partners and advertisers' key decision makers, build relationships, educate them with the advantages of investing in Amazon's ad tech solutions, and obtain support for proposed execution plans.
- In addition to tasks related to goals connected to own sales incentives, understand the strategies of Amazon's ad tech and AU's Amazon ads business, and demonstrate ownership in contributing to the overall business growth.
- Become the owner of product functions and sales programs, develop strategies to promote them, create plans, involve relevant teams and execute them, and report results.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of B2B sales experience
- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- Experience closing sales and revenue generation
- Experience building new customer relationships
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
