About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cook/Kitchenhand/Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in meal preparation and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing meals according to menu specifications and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare meals according to menu specifications and recipes provided
* Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as a Cook or Kitchenhand
* Certification in commercial cookery (Cert III) is highly desirable
* An Australian Police Check is required prior to commencement
