About Our Client: Our client operates one of the world's largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 km south-east of Darwin in the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent for a permanent opportunity. About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective management of electrical infrastructure across the mine, with a strong focus on Mill and Port operations. You will provide strong safety leadership, oversee maintenance execution, and guide a skilled team of electrical professionals to achieve business outcomes aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives. Roster: 9 days on / 5 days off FIFO from Darwin (interstate travel support may be available for the right candidate) Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the Electrical Infrastructure function Oversee maintenance of electrical infrastructure including spares management, condition monitoring, life extension, and replacement planning Manage instrumentation, control systems, and local IT/communication networks Ensure effective maintenance scheduling, project delivery, and asset management Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable operational benefits Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and electrical licensing obligations Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance within the department Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing electrical team To succeed in this role, you will bring:Trade or Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field Ability to obtain or hold the MRM Electrical Contractor's Licence High Voltage Switching qualification Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical infrastructure or maintenance management, ideally within mining or minerals processing Strong knowledge of asset maintenance systems, operational processes, and financial management Solid understanding of minerals processing systems and operational interdependencies Proven experience managing risk, safety, and regulatory compliance Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teams Benefits13% Superannuation Career development and progression opportunities within a major mining operation Salary packaging and employee rewards program Opportunity to work with a supportive and high-performing team#J-18808-Ljbffr
