Gary S Rolfe Solicitors are a long established and well-respected law practice in Caboolture. We are seeking a Lawyer, Graduate Lawyer or current Law Student who possesses a strong desire to practise in the area of Family Law.
We are seeking to appoint an impressive and dynamic Lawyer or Graduate/Student to join our highly experienced and expanding team. The most suitable applicant will possess a strong interest and passion in Family Law. A strong interest in Criminal Law would also be an advantage. Applicants with previous experience in these areas of law will be highly regarded.

This role offers great opportunities and would be ideal for applicants who wish to learn and hone a high level of advocacy and practical skills in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The ideal applicant will possess the following:
1. A Law degree including studies in Family Law and possibly Criminal Law. It would be a definite advantage should you hold or be eligible to hold a current practising certificate with the Qld Law Society; or currently completing such capabilities.
2. An ability or desire to personally appear and represent clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Magistrates, Children's, District and Supreme Courts.
3. The capacity, skills or desire to professionally, intelligently and vigorously advocate on behalf of their clients.
4. A good understanding and working knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975.
5. Current accreditation (by Legal Aid Queensland) as a Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer or possess the skills and experience to become so accredited within a short period of time would also be an advantage.
6. A professional, friendly and approachable nature.
7. The ability to work autonomously and in a supportive team environment.
8. Strong attention to detail.
9. Strong computer skills; and
10. One year + PAE in the above stated areas of Law is a definite advantage, however same is not mandatory.
