Senior Claims Consultant, Workers Compensation Claims Management
This role involves managing a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims. The Senior Claims Consultant will deliver high‑quality claims management services, working collaboratively with clients and the broader claims team to produce cost‑effective outcomes and timely settlement of claims.
Responsibilities
* Deal efficiently with client enquiries
* Plan and deliver relationship management through regular and constructive communication with clients
* Visit clients and legal providers regularly
* Provide end-to‑end claims management
* Submit claims reports as required
* Continuously pursue professional development by attending external and internal sessions
* Ensure compliance with the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, including principles and standards set by the regulator
Qualifications (highly desirable)
* Knowledge and insurance claims experience in Workers Compensation
* Experience interpreting relevant acts for liability decisions
* Management of complex claims
* Demonstrated initiative and understanding when managing confidential information
